The Freight Hero is an innovative digital platform for ocean and air freight. With direct connections to more than 200 sea and airports worldwide, we make logistics smarter, faster and more transparent. We operate from two locations: our head office in Hengelo (Overijssel) and an international location in Izmir, Turkey.
Your role: the first contact, the clear voice
As a Junior Account Manager, you are the first point of contact for potential customers. You work within our energetic Sales Team and follow up on warm leads generated by our Online Marketeer. You hold focused conversations, advise companies and turn interest into long-term customer relationships. Together with colleagues from Operations, you build revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
What will you do?
- You proactively call companies that have already shown interest (warm leads).
- You ask targeted questions and advise on our ocean and air freight solutions.
- You record conversations neatly in our CRM system.
- You turn a first conversation into a lasting customer relationship.
- You answer incoming calls and chat messages in a customer-friendly manner.
- You spot market developments and think commercially.
What do you bring?
- MBO+ or HBO working and thinking level.
- Experience in telephone sales or customer contact is a plus.
- A clear, pleasant telephone voice.
- You are results-driven, enthusiastic and dare to take initiative.
- You find it motivating to work with targets and bonuses.
- You have a good command of Dutch, English and German, both spoken and written.
- You are available 40 hours per week.
